Class Rules

All cars & all classes may be tech inspected before or after any heat or main. Not all classes shown are ran on a regular basis.
Race run times are four minutes (unless otherwise posted).
Rules are subject to change.

All race lenghts are four minutes long unless otherwise posted in a particular class.

Novice Class (oval only)
Body	Any Body is legal.
Chassis	Any 1/10th scale chassis is legal. No left drive.
Motor	Any 27 turn degree stock motor, including rebuildable stocks. Motor must meet ROAR Specifications.
Batteries	6 cells for off-road cars or 4 cell for pan cars. 4-Cells no higher than 4300 mAh - Ni-Mh only. 6 Cells can be Ni-Mh or hard case Li-PO.
Wings	Wings are OK. Must be clear (no paint or decals). Must not exceed width of body.
Gearing	No limit on gear ratio.
Important Notes	All Pan Cars must use Sportsman Stock rules. Any body is legal. Any racer can run a minimum of 4 race days as Novice. After running 4 race days with one 1st Place “A” Main finish, you must move to another class. You may move to another class at any time you choose also.
Stadium Stock
*Race Length*	Five minutes
Body	Any body is legal.
Chassis	Any 1/10th scale off-road chassis. No 4-wheel drives.
Motor	27 turn, 24 degree timing motors only. Must be 22 AWG wire. No modifications can be made to any motor design, including bushings. Bushing-tab motors are illegal if the end bell has been removed. Brushes & springs can be replaced and tuned. Commutators can be cut. Rebuildable motors are legal, but armatures must have identifying tags & parts must be of original design & manufacture. Brushless motor allowed is Novak 13.5. Motor must meet ROAR Specifications.
Weight	56 Oz. minimum (without transponder)
Batteries	6 cells. 6 Cells can be Ni-Mh (4300mAH max) or Hard-case Li-Po 7.4v.
Wings	Wings are OK.
Tires	Any size tire OK.
Gearing	No limit on gear ratio.
Mini Slider
*Race Length*	Five minutes
Chassis	Stock 1/18th scale chassis only.
Batteries	Stock batteries or 1400mAh only.
Receiver/Speed Control	Receiver may be changed. Stock speed control only.
Gearing	No limit on gear ratio.
Suspension	No limit on suspension.
Wing	Wing must be used.
1/18th Scale
*Race Length*	Five minutes
Chassis	Any 18th scale car can enter.
Motor	Associated 370, Xray 300, and Stock Losi Slider
Batteries	Manufacturer stock batteries or 1400mAh batteries can be used.
Receiver/Speed Control	Any receiver and speed control are allowed.
NASCAR Stock - (4 cell)
Body	Body run in the Point Series must be Nastruck Style.
Chassis	Any 1/10th scale direct drive chassis--no left drive.
Motor	27 turn, 24 degree timing motors only. Must be 22 AWG wire. No modifications can be made to any motor design, including bushings. Bushing-tab motors are illegal of the end bell has been removed. Brushes & springs can be replaced and tuned. Commutators can be cut. Rebuildable motors are legal, but armatures must have identifying tags & parts must be of original design & manufacture. Brushed stock motors only; no brushless. Motor must meet ROAR Specifications.
Batteries/Motors	4 cell 4300mAh with either stock brushed or Novak 17.5 brushless 7.4v Lipo in hard case with Novak 21.5 brushless
Wings	*This rule was revised on 1/1/2008* Wings are OK on Nascar only. Must be clear (no paint or decals). Must not exceed width of body. Wings are not allowed on Nastruck bodies. Spoilers can be used (2" maximum height).

Body Option	When class is designated NASTRUCK, the body must be a Ford, Chevy or Dodge SuperTruck body with no roof height minimum. When class is designated Silver Crown Sprint, there is no roof height minimum and no wings are allowed. Must have roll cage and headers. We suggest a scale appearing driver as well.
NASCAR Li-PO 17.5
Body	Must be Nascar body only. Roof must be 4.25" high minimum.
Chassis	Any 1/10th scale direct drive chassis. No left drive.
Batteries/Motors	7.4v Hard case Li-PO w/Novak 17.5 brushless motor. 4 cells can be run with either the Novak 10.5 or any brushed 19-turn motor.
Wings	Wings are OK. Must be clear (no paint or decals). Must not exceed width of body.
Width	Maximum 9.5 inches.
Weight	38 oz. minimum (without transponder).
NASCAR Li-PO 10.5
Body	Must be Nascar body only. Roof must be 4.25" high minimum.
Chassis	Any 1/10th scale direct drive chassis. No left drive.
Batteries/Motors	7.4v Hard case Li-PO w/Novak 10.5 brushless motor.

Touring Car Stock (brushed/brushless)

Motor	Unlimited modified. Brushless or brushed motors allowed. No cobalt magnets.
Batteries	6 cells. Ni-Mh (4300mAH max) or 7.4v hard case Li-PO
Weight	52 oz. minimum (without transponder)
Wings & Spoilers	OK.
Gearing	No limit on gear ratio
Tires	Any size or material (foam or rubber) touring car tires & wheels are legal. Must not extend beyond body.
Monster Truck Nitro/Electric
Race Length	Five minutes
Engine Size	All nitro engines are allowed. Electric monster trucks are allowed.
Transmission	All trucks must be 4WD. Reverse is not permitted during organized racing.
Tires	All tires are allowed.
Notes	This class will be run on the road course instead of the oval. 1/10th Scale Nitro Stadium trucks may be allowed if there are not enough entries to form a seperate class.
